An early-ripening, very productive, bright red seedless grape from New York Fruit Testing. The crunchy fruit is medium size, not slipskin, and has a great flavor, with a hint of strawberry. The fruit stores well and is resistant to botrytis. It ripens in late September, a week before Canadice. Grows in USDA Zone 5-9. A grapevine can be both a highly productive source of fruit and a focal point of considerable beauty. Think carefully about where to plant one to provide shade, cover a wall or accentuate an arch. We offer grapes most of which will ripen even in areas with cool summers. The ripening dates listed are for the cooler parts of Western Washington, but most ripen sooner and thrive where summers are warmer. For best results, plant your grape vines in the spring. Once your plants arrive, plant them immediately. If you cannot plant immediately, keep new arrivals cool and roots moist. To keep cool, it is recommended that you store in refrigerator or cool place. For best results plant your grape vines in early spring. Once your plants arrive plant them immediately. Directly moisten the roots. Do not spray or mist. After the vines are established, they seldom need watering. Overwatering causes leaves to drop. Mulching is not necessary after the vines are established.
