Baby Cakes is a dwarf, thornless blackberry perfect for patio pots with its compact habit. In summer, large, classic and sweet tasting berries present on the plant in a fireworks-like spray of fruit. In most regions, this blackberry will produce twice in one season! Keep raspberry bushes evenly watered during the summer. Check regularly and water whenever the top inch of soil is dry. Drip irrigation or a soaker hose system is ideal for consistent moisture. Do not water during the winter, though, as that could cause the roots to rot.
