Raspberry ‘Anne’, Yellow Raspberries. Regarded as one of the best-flavored yellow raspberries, Rubus idaeus ‘Anne’ (Everbearing Raspberry) is an upright, self-fruitful, sparsely thorned shrub that produces 2 crops on each cane: a moderate crop in early summer followed by a heavy crop in late summer to fall. Keep raspberry bushes evenly watered during the summer. Check regularly and water whenever the top inch of soil is dry. Drip irrigation or a soaker hose system is ideal for consistent moisture. Do not water during the winter, though, as that could cause the roots to rot.
