We are planting blueberry trees, mushrooms, and trees this month. We are also setting up our irrigation system that will run across the property with water pumps, timers, and drip hoses. For many of the plants on our farm watering the roots is more important than the leaves. Deep watering is a strategy that we are implementing. This involves not watering on a frequent basis in lieu of watering on a deep drip basis less frequently. This will force the roots to extend further in reach underground instead of garnering more water from the top level.
