Today while I was at the local Winco I came across peaches for $1 each. That was the going price. I bought about 25 of them. I was on a $100 budget so that put a nix on the bacon, the second package of ground turkey, and a couple other small things. At the same time my boyfriend was buying a burger at the Wendy’s. It was nine dollars so between the two of us we hit an even hundred.
My pie filling will have peaches, cinnamon, sugar, corn starch, water, vanilla, and some lemon. I have to decide if their is any other fruit I want to add. I will post the recipe in here and the directions for how to properly can it on the stove. I would not delay on making this happen if I were you. This is a great deal and Christmas is right around the corner!!
